Our Products...

For optimal burning, firewood should be dried, or 'seasoned' until its moisture content is less than 20 percent. Firewood with a moisture content higher than that may eventually burn, but it is difficult to light and just as hard to keep burning. Just as important, your fire does not burn the tars and creosote in the smoke produced and they end up lining the inside of your flue pipes and chimney. They also blacken the glass windows of your wood-burning appliances and produce a lot of blue/grey smoke.

  • All our logs have a moisture content of 20% or less.
  • Our logs burn more efficiently than unseasoned logs with a low impact to the environment.
  • All our wood is barn stored and air dried.
  • We understand the dangers of burning wet wood so rest assured we carry out vigorous testing to ensure that our firewood is fir for purpose.
  • We also supply nets of kindling wood which is soft wood.
  • We supply bags smokeless and standard coal for home use, in various sizes.

Facts...

Unseasoned wood will cost more in the long term.
